The Best Carrot and Coriander Hummus Recipe

Happy World Hummus Day!

Today I had to share this delicious Hummus recipe with you, especially as its world hummus day! I love hummus, especially when its homemade and a low fat variety.

This Hummus is made from chickpeas, carrot and coriander, with coconut yogurt-which you cant taste but give the spread the most delicious creamy texture.

Vegan Carrot And Coriander Hummus Recipe

Carrot and Coriander Hummus, Healthy, Vegan, Gluten Free. Perfect for layering in salads, topping on your favorite toast, or for dunking your crudites in. What ever the occasion is this hummus will wow your friends and family, and its so easy to make!

  • 1 can Chickpeas drained
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 200 g Carrots Choppped
  • 5 g Corriander
  • 2 tbsp Plain Coconut Yoghurt
  • 2 Cloves Garlic


  1. Drain Chickpeas.

  2. Add all ingredients to your blender. (I use Froothie Vac 2 which has a vacuum function which keeps the hummus last even longer!) 

  3. Blend for a minute, or until all the lumps have gone! This is different for every blender.

  4. Store your hummus in an airtight container. I use old nut butter jars!
