Welcome Back to The Vogue Vegetarian.
As in the UK we are well into summer now, and I’ve had a few questions about how I get my hair to look thick and beachy, I thought I would sit down and write a post on how I achieve this look with minimal effort, time, and products.
If you have any products you use that are cruelty free, or if you make your own, please leave a comment and let me know or link to your post on it! I love finding new cruelty free products.
No heat Cruelty Free Beach Waves in 4 Simple Steps:
I wash my hair. I find after washing my hair it naturally goes slightly thicker and voluminous.
Roughly Blow Dry Your Hair. I dont do this to perfectly as the look we are trying to achieve is that cute tousled beach wave look, i just dry it to add some volume.
Go in with Urban Fudge Sea Salt Spray. I do use a fair bit of this to make sure that I really get that texture into my hair. Ill spray the underneath sections of my hair first, then move onto the upper section, really focusing on the length of my hair-I dont put this near my roots.
Use your hands to scrunch the tips of your hair upwards. This helps the spray to set in that beautiful beach wave way.

What Do I think of Urban Fudge Sea Salt Spray?
I love this product. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I think its amazing.
What makes Urban Fudge Sea Salt Spray Stand Out?
- It creates the perfect natural looking wave, that works perfectly on thick hair without making you look like a lion!
- It isn’t overly sticky-some salt sprays do nothing, whilst others are so sticky you look like you dunked your head in honey and your hair goes super matted. This one is great for giving texture but not looking matted at all.
- Its cruelty free.
- Its smells like sweet coconut, so so delicious!
